CIC Secured Payment

The aim of the payment service by credit card CyberMut Payment is to allow the ARTWORLDPRINT.COM company to sell original prints and works of art on the web in a safe way, in mail-order selling.
The service CyberMut Payment is operational since 1996.

The company ArtworldPrint.Com proposes a catalogue of original prints on its own server. The clients refer to the on-line catalogue on the site of ArtworldPrint.Com and put in an order. At the end of the ordering process, the company shows them an order form and invites them to pay by credit card through the medium of the secured payment service by CyberMUT Payment credit card.

The payment process then takes place on the Crédit Mutuel secured service.
The Cybermut payment service covers the whole of the payment process.

When the time comes to pay, ArtWorldPrint.Com guides its customer toward the Crédit Mutuel secured payment service. The interactions between the ArtWorldPrint.Com server and the Crédit Mutuel server are done in a safe way.

During all the payment process the customer thus directly interacts with the Crédit Mutuel secured payment server.
The elements of security dealing with the exchanges, which are implemented within the framework of the CyberMUT Payment service, are the following :
    - Integrity of the data exchanged between the ArtWorldPrint.Com server and the Crédit Mutuel server, guaranteed by a method of sealing (method which consists in creating a seal of the message so as to assure its non alteration),
    - Authentication of the merchant who issues the bill,
    - Confidentiality of the data exchanged between the customer and the Crédit Mutuel payment server (credit card number and period of validity) guaranteed by SSL coding,
    - Security thanks to a Payment process in which the customer gives his credit card number and period of validity directly to the Crédit Mutuel: the customer is guaranteed that neither the ArtWorldPrint.Com managers nor any of the technical middlemen will have access to the information related to his credit card.


Once on the Crédit Mutuel secured payment server, the customer captures his credit card number and period of validity, and then validates:
The Crédit Mutuel then takes upon itself to carry out:
    - The demand of permission for payment (checking of the credit card number’s structure, checking on the stolen/stopped cards file, interrogation of the Customer’s bank by the inter-bank network so as to obtain the permission for payment),
    - The sending of a message of confirmation which says precisely the result of the payment toward the company’s computer system (an option which is not free also permits to send a fax of confirmation of the command to the merchant after each payment),
    - The covering up of the payment.

The customer is then told about the result of the demand for payment and can –if he wishes to do so– return on the ArtWorldPrint.Com site.

The CyberMut Payment service manages both dollars and euros.

1. GUARANTEE

All the works of art are actually the same as what is presented on the site, and they are sold without frame.
The dimensions are given with and without margin for information only.
All the works presented are guaranteed authentic and are delivered with an attestation of authenticity.


2. PRICES


The prices of the works of art are indicated in Euros and US Dollars, including all taxes without delivery charges (French VAT applicable since the 30th of April 2000).

The countries outside the EEC are subject to local statutory prices, which are neither take into account nor took care of by ArtWorldPrint.Com: you are the importer of the print(s). You can ask your local authorities about these aspects. This local statutory price will be applied to you as soon as you receive the print(s). ArtWorldPrint will invoice you duty-free. Within the EEC, the prices are calculated on the French VAT basis, on the bill.

The orders, whatever their origins, are payable exclusively in Euros or US Dollars.

3. ORDER

The transaction and the payment are entirely secured.
You can know the availability and the total cost of your purchase, including the delivery charge, then you will pay with your credit card (VISA, MASTERCARD) using the SSL or CIC secured payment.


4. PROPERTY


According to the May 12th 1980 law number 80-335, the partial or total transfer of property occurs after the complete payment of the print(s).

Any reproduction, partial or total, of the ArtWorldPrint site is strictly forbidden. The images, texts, commentaries, illustrations listed on the artworldprint.com site are reserved according to the royalties and the right to intellectual property, and that is true everywhere.


5. VALIDATION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE ORDER


Once you have clicked on the “Order” key you must accept the general terms of sale unreservedly. the order is taken into account on receiving all the elements and after confirmation and permission of the bank concerning the various payments (check, transfer, credit card).
ArtWorldPrint will confirm you by e-mail that your command is correctly received. The data recorded during the order process by www. artworldprint.com constitute a proof of the transactions carried on between ArtWorldPrint and its clients. The delivery time is taken into account from this moment on.


6. AVAILABILITY AND DELIVERY TIME LIMIT



The delivery charges will be borne by the client.
Our prints are proposed within the limits of the available stock.

8. SECURED PAYMENT - CREDIT CARD - TRANSFERT


Any work of art is sent with an insurance
The amount of the insurance is calculated automatically and added to the selected work or works’ price.

Concerning the payments by CREDIT TRANSFERS, our bank’s name and the Bank Identification Code (BIC) are the only data that appear on the site.
Our account number will be revealed after the record of your order on the site, if you or your bank need(s) it to do the transfer. If you encounter any difficulty, whatever it is, please contact us by e mail, and we will give you more information.
With the Bank’s name and the Bank Identification Code, the transfer is possible. If a problem occurs a I-Ban will be given to your bank by e mail.

9. TRANSPORT AND INSURANCE

In any case, the goods are transported at the client’s own risks. It is indeed the client’s business to do all the necessary reserves with the carrier in case of shortage or damage. We ensure the delivery by the carrier that we decide to chose according to our preference (‘Collisimo Suivi’ or ‘Chronopost’) unless otherwise informed by yourself.
Concerning the important purchases, we greatly advise our buyer to open the parcel in front of the delivery man, so as to note that the print(s) has/have arrived in perfect condition.
If a parcel is damaged, it is necessary to let the delivery man know every anomalies, by writing.
That procedure is essential so that the insurance can be set up.
If that procedure is not respected, Artworldprint.com accepts no responsibility and is not regarded as responsible in case of an absence of reimbursement by the insurance.

11. RESPONSABILITIES

The prints that we sell are described and presented with the greatest precision. If in spite of all our precautions some mistakes have occurred, we could on no account be responsible for that. If we happen to be out of stock, if there is a total or partial strike concerning the means of transport/communication, or in case of natural disasters (fire, flood, tempest, unforeseeable event…) ArtWorldPrint will not be responsible for the non-fulfillment of the present contract. Any transaction occurring between ArtWorldPrint and its clients, which is not contested within 10 days, cannot give rise to complaint.


12. RIGHTS AND CONTENTIONS

This contract is subject to French law. The language of this contract is originally rench. Any contention occurring between ArtWorldPrint and its clients in the Framework of their trading relations, will be – for lack of amicable arrangement – within the competence of the Nancy commercial court (France).


13. SATISFACTION OR YOUR MONEY BACK

From the moment you receive the good, you have a period of 7 working days (the post mark attesting it) to return the print which may not please you, together with a copy of the bill (or the e mail confirmation order). The prints which are damaged or soiled by the client…are not taken back. The delivery charges concerning the return are payable by the client. The reimbursement will be done within a period inferior or equal to 30 days after the receipt of the products by our services. it will be made by check in the name of the client who put in the order and sent it to the invoice office. No cash on delivery will be accepted, whatever the reason.

You have a right of access and of correction concerning the information that you pass on to us. this information is confidential and will not be divulged to anybody.


15. DELIVERY AND TRANSFER OF RISKS

All the prints presented on the ArtWorldPrint site are only available in one copy and delivery, with an insurance representing 0.6% of the amount, at the client’s own risk. In case of damage or shortage, the client will have to do every necessary observation and confirm his reserves by extra-judicial document or recorded delivery letter with acknowledgement of receipt, and that to the carrier, within the 24 hours following the goods’ receipt.


16. RETURN

Any return of products must be covered by a formal agreement between the seller and the buyer. the costs and the risks concerning the return will be borne by the buyer.
